To,

Executive Director (Personnel),

LIC of India,

Central Office,

"Yogakshema",

Mumbai 400 021.

Dear Sir,

Re One time option - Group Mediclaim Scheme.

Ref: Circular No: CO/PER/ER-A/324/2023.

You were kind enough to grant one time option to left out Employees/Pensioners to join Group

Mediclaim Scheme. We thank you for the same.

You had in your above referred circular instructed the Divisional Offices to deduct the premium from

pension of eligible pensioners, for the month of February,2024 payable on 1st March, 2024.

It has come to our notice that many divisions like Bhopal, Indore, Raipur, Raichur, Dharwad etc have not

deducted the premium from February, 2024 pension of eligible pensioners. It is most likely that there

may be some more divisions who have not effected deduction.

You are requested to examine the matter and ensure that the eligible pensioners who have opted, are

not deprived of the Mediclaim facility granted by the above circular, by giving necessary instructions to

all the operating offices and oblige.

Hoping that needful would be done.

Thanking you,

Yours Sincerely,

 General Secretary

To all the members

Decisions taken in Agra DOs’ convention

The convention at Agra was a huge success beyond imagination. The detailed report follows

(since I am extremely busy with the tours etc). For the immediate information of all, the

decisions taken in the convention are notified, that are as follows￾1) To further pursue the issue of ADO’s training period, the action programme is – a) To have

a huge gate meeting at Yogakshema, Mumbai in April 2024. Date to be decided by the HQs.

The issues of Group Insurance Scheme to all pensioners and of LICA to be clubbed for the

purpose of gate meeting. b) To send a legal notice to the Chairperson, LIC from our Kolkata

unit. Timing will be decided by the HQs.

2) LICA issues- After the valedictory session, an exclusive meeting for an hour was held with

LICA leaders about their 3 important issues, viz- LICA corner, Yearly review of business

instead of Quarterly review and against 75% cut in commission. Dr.K.K.Singh, all India Vice

President, LICA forum and Shri.V P Singh, the other leader of LICA, both from Benaras

(Varanasi) attended the meeting, joined NOIP on the spot and assured to enrol all 900+ LICA

members to NOIP. Already we have huge number of members who are LICA. It was decided

to take these 3 issues by NOIP and to meet the MD in charge of Marketing Shri.M.Jagannath

along with OBS of LICA forum, in April 2024.

Agra convention is going to be a game changer for the expansion of NOIP
